Feed extrusion

Farmet produces screw feed extruders that cover a range of performance and application. These extruders can be further assembled into extrusion lines. Overall performance is then determined by the number and type of equipment used.

Thermal (dry) soy extrusion

Thermal (dry) soy extrusion is a solution convenient especially for the production of full-fat extruded soybean, a feed component.

DMC - Dry Meal & Cake extrusion

The DMC technology (Dry extrusion of Meals and Cakes) is designed for the extrusion of press cake and extracted soymeal. The main purpose of this procedure is to sanitize these feed components and to increase the content of something called rumen-protected protein.

WCE - Wet Cereal & Legume extrusion

The WCE technology (Wet extrusion of Cereals) is best for the extrusion of mixtures containing high amounts of starch.

WFM - Wet Feed Mixtures extrusion

The WFM technology (Wet extrusion of feed mixtures) is designed for the production of granulated feeds. Typical entry materials include complete compound feed for livestock (especially pigs and poultry), pets (pet food), and fish (fish feed).

MVKS - Small Feed Mixtures Plants

Small production facilities are offered either with an automatically drawing grinder (MVKS-s), or a vertical grinder (MVKS-v). They are intended for small- and middle-scale producers of compound feed; basic components (grain) are stored freely on the floor space.

VKS - Feed Mixture Plants

This product is most appropriate for middle-scale producers of compound food. The basic ingredients for compound food (grain) are stored in silos (or alternatively, on the floor, with a mechanized supply into the weighing devices).

Extruders of the FE line represent top-class equipment, which excel in versatility, variability and effectiveness. Many modified configurations of these extruders are offered, allowing optimal solution for any farmer or feed producer.

Feed Extruder - FE 100

The feed extruder FE 100 is the basic model. Despite its size, this extruder offers a range of applications for the use in feed production.

Feed Extruder - FE 250

The feed extruder FE 250 is a model of medium performance scale. It offers a broad range of use in feed production and our technologies for pressing with extrusion in combination with the oilseed press FS 350 and in the modular press shop “COMPACT”.

Feed Extruder - FE 500

The feed extruder FE 500 is a model of medium performance scale. It offers a broad range of uses in feed production. This extruder can compress the material at high pressures and heat it up to a high temperature, which enables it for various feed-related applications.

Feed Extruder - FE 1000

The feed extruder FE 1000 belongs among the high-performance line of our machines. It offers a broad range of uses in feed production and in our technologies for pressing with extrusion in combination with the oilseed press FS 1010.

Feed Extruder - FE 4000

The feed extruder FE 4000 is our premium product, suitable for applications in feed industry and also, in combination with the high-capacity oilseed press FS 4022, for the extrusion pressing technology. Modern design and emphasis on maximum functionality and processing quality are the main assets of this machine.

Complex soybean pressing

Farmet offers a unique technology for the complex processing of soybeans (soya). This technology involves a sophisticated approach to all the steps between raw soybeans and final products – 1) oils intended for food- and feed-related, or technical applications and 2) products derived from the press cake, varying both in their nutritional composition (content of protein, fiber, and fat) and their structural and textural characteristics.
